    I ordered 2 vegetarian sausages rolls from this company that was labelled with a V (meaning it is suitable for vegetarians). To start off with they tried to use the same serving tongs that they had used to pick up meat products with and when I asked them if they could use separate ones the woman behind the counter didn't understand why I had requested this, I explained it was because of meat transfer, she got quite huffy and finally went out the back and bought out a new pair on tongs. When I took a bite from the vegetarian sausage roll I spat it out as it was a meat sausage roll!!! My husband took it back into the shop and explained what had happened and the assistant just answered that it was vegetarian and it was in fact soya. This was incorrect information, it smelt of meat and he said that it tasted of meat. I checked with the vegetarian sausage rolls that they had in the window and they had a smooth pastry around them and all the meat ones had lines cut out of the top of the sausage roll which was the same as the ones that had been sold to me. This time we both went in and I explained to them that I had been a vegetarian for 30 years and they didn't care or understand what my problem was, they were very rude about it and didn't even appologise once!! They should not mark something as being vegetarian then serve up a meat product. I am absolutely disgusted with the service and since lunch time I have been feeling sick and can still taste the meat even after 6 hours later. I would have given them a 0 star rating if Google had this as an option.
