    Excellent place to stay. Each of the 12 rooms is individually decorated in this historic house. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with all you would expect from a such a grand house. You will be assured of a warm welcome from the friendly and knowledgeable team at Apsley House. My wife and I have stayed 4 times so far, with another 8 rooms still to visit - we owe it to ourselves to try all of the rooms. Whilst there is no restaurant for lunches or evening meals, the breakfasts are amazing !!! There is also a comfortable lounge area with an honesty bar and grand piano. The house is about 30 mins walk into the city, but there's also a bus stop just outside if walking puts you off This place is certainly worth a visit.
